Player Profile
Andrew Robert Jones (Andy), age 26, joined CPR in the
Spring of 2002, after moving to New York
from Essex, England. Andy found the team in the Parlour Irish bar on 86 and Broadway, and since then,
Andy has gone on to become a living legend within the CPR ranks. Most recently, Andy captained the Metroboyz
to their second Metro League title, while being voted season MVP. Rumor has it that Jones is being groomed to
take over the team’s management in years to come, following Jonny Lincoln’s
retirement (or arrest).
Off the field, Jones has been just as impressive -
attending virtually every post-match drinking session and numerous other
social events. Jones attended CPR’s
2004 and 2005 Las Vegas
tournaments.
Back in his native England,
Jones founded and captained the Gidea Park Giants
FC, receiving multiple awards along the way.

Andy’s other hobbies include chowing
down on heapings of Shepherds Pie, passing out on friday nights only to wake up at 3am and run out for a
quick one, and also writing remarkably arrogant self profiles.
