The firsts played out a hard fought 3-2 win this past Sunday at home to a strong Croatia team.  Eli was put through early on to give CPR the lead, and the score remained 1-0 at half time even though the 'Croats' where able to put the home team under some pressure and where unlucky not to score on more than one occasion.  The game opened up considerably in the second half and with Ben making some fine stops CPR where able to exert some dominance and seemingly end the contest after scoring two more goals through Conor and Kevin.  However, the last five minutes saw the away team grab 2 quick goals and in the end a nervy final couple of minutes had to be negotiated before the final whistle brought the game to a close.
